Speeding Colors!
(My entry for X-TAON Art Car texturing contest by Allegorethmic. The brief was to fill the empty canvas of the car body to make an art car for the vehicle designed by Takumi Yamamoto.)
About the art:
The art on the vehicle is trying to describe the color speeding with the car. The color swirl on the top is trying to speak the origin of the emotion(which is the driver). The long stretching color lines on the body speaks the flow of this energy across the vehicle.
The tail and the nose of the car have a unique burn particle used, reflecting on the wind that's trying to take off the paint at the front and spread at the rear.
